Study on particulate matter (PM2.5) filtration efficiency of ventilating air filters

There are some difficulties in choosing suitable air filters because of the lack of PM2.5 filtration efficiency of the air filters when reducing the indoor PM2.5 concentration by ventilation system. Based on the data of the particle counting and sizing filtration efficiency and the PM2.5 arrestance filtration efficiency of different air filters obtained under the same and standard testing conditions, analyses the relationship between the two kinds of filtration efficiency. The results provide preliminary basis for choosing air filters of air conditioning and ventilation systems at different PM2.5 arrestance concentrations.
